To get a little personal
Allana BelenHello! Where to start... I love to adventure and feel as though I'm the only one in the world sometimes and enjoy the quite of nature. However, I am completely affraid of the dark. So if you catch me star gazing, hubby is going to be there holding my hand. I'm a fry fanatic and love dipping sauces. Plants are a new passion of mine that has turned into quite a jungle. Movie nerd, go ahead quiz me! Thrifting hobbyist making me a part time hoarder. Above all, passionate about creating memories.
A little more detailed
Without writing a whole novel, I'll start with...
California gal all the way. Born and raised in the Central Valley. Grew up in a small town around an awesome community of neighbors and friends. Followed my parents everywhere which created a such a great memory lane of camping, roadtripping, and exploring California. I was a very active kid, with learning ballet as basically a toddler, to being involved in many sports, and enjoying living out my little girl fantasy of being with horses and horseback riding. So many great memories that yes, I have photos of.
Fast forward, past the awkward teenage years. to turning 18. What do I remember best above everything else, other than getting my first tattoo.... meeting my guy. At such an age of learning and growing, we collided with such a whirl wind. Going through the years of finding ourselves while at the same time learning one another. There are so many chapters of our story, some great ones filled with so much love and laughter, and then some where patience was key but so hard to grasp. All of which makes us who we are as individuals and as partners today. To have gone through all of it, I can honestly say he's my bestfriend (sorry if this seems corny, I just live for the gushiness of love). We tied the knot at the age of 26, another love filled story I won't get into, but a roller coaster of a chapter. Those who are already married will know what I am talking about, those getting married... just enjoy the ride. We have had quite the ride of being homeowners and making our home OURS. I have such a passion for interior design that always seems to be evolving. Our garage is basically a storage of furniture, décor, and random goodies that my husband eventually hopes to be cleared out for his classic car. Honestly it seems that we are forever under renovation... is a house REALLY ever done? The newest to our lives, other than the both of us turning the big 30 (even though my husband swears he is younger than me) is that we are now parents to such a bundle of joy. Becoming parents has been one of the greatest experiences and is honestly the best part of our current lives. Being a new mommy I could honestly just gush about our little one (proud parents alert)… however we have chosen to keep this part of our lives fairly private on social media for the time being, so all the adorable photos are currently being kept for our special memory book. I can now call myself a working mom and having this newest member of our crew join is beyond exciting. Looking forward to the cutest behind the scenes moments about to happen.
Throughout all this time I have always loved capturing moments on camera. I was such a paparazzi with friends and family. Being able to look back at childhood photos and being able to relive those moments through film held such a special place for me that through time I was all about capturing even more. I have so many photo boxes and phone camera galleries that I could create a picture book of my adventure of life. This is where my husband changed things for me. He's never loved being in front of the camera, he limits our selfies to just one. Whether good or bad I just get one photo. With that said, instead of putting a bookmark in my photo taking he surprised me one day for my birthday that was a total game changer for me. If you're guessing camera... you are correct! My very first professional camera. I was so excited and so lost on how to use it. His reasoning behind this totally awesome gift is kind of personal to me, words that I cherish and will keep for my own personal diary. After some time of capturing us on camera, I took the leap to capturing others. It's been 3 years now of helping others to make memories on film. Let's just say that I am obsessed! To be able to help with anyone's story is such an honor to me. I am so excited to continue learning, meeting people, and creating moments for others' personal photobooks.
Now... Where am I now? That's forever evolving. I am now 30 and entering a new time of my life in many ways.
I can't wait to see where life takes me.
Love & support
I'm all about my little family, hense all the spam of us. Honestly, behind the scenes it's not a solo act. I have a team behind me with my husband, friends, family, clients, and fur kids. That to me, speaks so much. I love to build around a community and show support. I'm excited for you to join this team and to become a part of my community!
